Retrograde Remedies
I find myself falling inward right now.
Feeling inclined to write
my feelings —
roses and thorns.
It feels like that’s the only remedy for this feeling.
And maybe it is.
With four planets in retrograde — Neptune, Saturn, Pluto, and now Mercury — it’s no wonder everything feels like it’s pulling us back in.
Not to spiral, but to slow down.
To reflect.
To remember.
Instead of diving headfirst into the retrograde hysteria, come back to your fundamentals:
• Are you checking in with yourself?
• How is your emotional regulation?
• When was the last time you moved your body with intention?
Neptune 7/3 - 12/10 (retrograde in Aries, then Pisces) is peeling back illusions — asking us to look at where we’ve been chasing fantasies instead of grounded dreams.
Saturn 7/13 - 11/27 is reworking our inner foundations — highlighting where our boundaries or commitments need realignment.
Pluto 5/4 - 10/13 (in early Aquarius, then back to Capricorn) is confronting us with slow transformation — digging up the roots so we can rise honestly.
Mercury 7/17 - 8/10, retrograding in Leo, stirs up communication, self-expression, and the stories we tell ourselves and others. Be mindful of what you say, what you write, and what you believe about yourself.
Even in the midst of disruption, we can find our grounding anchors:
A walk.
A long breath.
A journal entry you didn’t expect to write.
A good cry.
A stretch that softens something ancient.
This retrograde season isn’t here to break you.
It’s an invitation to commit to yourself.
Let it be gentle. Let it be honest. Let it be medicine.
At the end of the day, it’s just you in your mind.
